Last week, the first domino fell into place making Active more customer-focused and efficient. Active’s Charlotte plant, newly opened in October, moved into new space, doubling in size to support our growing customers in the Southeastern United States.
In another Active move, we have overseen the increase in capacity of over 30 percent at our Tucson plant. This increase in capacity allows us to support the continued growth in manufacturing throughout the Southwestern US as well as the Northwestern Mexico Maquiladoras.
On November 15, our Chicago area distribution center will close after operating in the general geographic area for over 65 years. Our corporate headquarters housing finance, accounting, information technology, quality assurance, and supply chain will move to office space in Skokie, Illinois. This is another key step towards in keeping Active a more efficient partner with all of our current and future customers. These and other initiatives have led to our company’s double digit growth in the last two years. Please come visit our new spaces.
